JIU | State/Program restrictions

The below Masters in Education programs are no longer available in the following states for Jones International University:

Washington, Oregon, Massachusetts, Minnesota

Please restrict the following programs from being shown when a user indicates that they reside in one of the states above:

Master’s Degrees Leading to Initial Education Licensure
MEd in Secondary Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment
MEd in Elementary Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment
MEd in K-12 Instructional Technology
MEd in Education Leadership and Administration: Principal and Administrator Licensure
Master’s Degrees for Licensed Educators: K-12 Educators and Administrators
MEd in Secondary Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment
MEd in Elementary Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment
MEd in K-12 Instructional Technology

To further clarify, the only Masters in Education programs that should be listed for these 4 states are the following:

MEd in Adult Education
MEd in Corporate Training and Knowledge Management
MEd in e-Learning Technology and Design
MEd in Higher Education Leadership and Administration

In addition to these changes, JIU now has a new state restriction disclaimer to include these updates. Please replace the old state restriction disclaimer with the following:

JIU does not currently accept students in Iowa. Certain program restrictions may apply to residents of Alabama, Georgia, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Oregon, Tennessee, and Washington.
