    The below lead was caught in ‘bad’, but should have gone thru. I pushed it thru manually. Please update the backend
    ====
    The following UMA lead was rejected for “Currently not accepting leads for Some College or Associate Degrees from the state of Montana”:
    ====
    http://www.leadxpert.com/campaigns/processing.php?LXcampaignCode=umao&aId=201&LeadSource=RRAFF&VendorLeadID=LL01&LXSubAffId=LL01&Computer=Yes&form_id=6413e14f-240f-4254-a927-992e0cd4022a&Vendor=RR&LeadVendor=RR&FirstName=Murlaina&LastName=Thomas&Address1=Po+box+1505&City=Missoula&State=MT&PostalCodeOrZip=59801&Phone=4068453331&Campus=45&Program=MBCOC&TCPAConsent=1&Email=tanaukay%40gmail.com&HighSchoolGraduationYear=2010&Agency=&MilitaryVAFundingSource=No&PreviousEducation=Some+College&Desired_Start_Date=1-3+Months&UniversalLeadId=A5730D10-F98B-9324-641C-B942CDF8FA37
    ======================
    The only restriction in the FPI is –

    UMA cannot accept leads for Associate Degree programs from the state of Montana
    ==
    This lead is not for an Associate program, and there was nothing listed about Some College not being accepted.

    OK. I’ll get this corrected. thanks

    Ok – I think this might be the reason why that lead failed…but you let me know

    I believe the confusion stems from the non-unique values displayed in the PreviousEducation tab of the posting docs which were then copied as-is into the scripts and both LX’s.

    In the field of the LX basic validation. The associated value for “Some College” is ‘Some College’ which is correct 🙂

    However, the passing value for ‘Associate’s degree’ seems to be also ‘Some College’ and that is triggering a false positive when the State of MT is selected along with ‘Some College’ . The system simply does not know according to those repetitive values which one to use therefore it will fail-safe to the hardcoded error.

    The simple fix is to find out what are the exact passing values that we should use for (Associate’s degree),
    ( Bachelor’s degree) & (Master’s or doctorate degree). I’d like to assume that it’s probably the same as the field name but then again (Did not finish high school or earn GED) seems to have a different value so I’m really not sure…

    Let me know what you think those values should be and I’ll reconfigure the logic across the board.

    SEE BELOW:
    ————————————

    Did not finish high school or earn GED=>Non High School
    High school diploma=>High School
    GED=>GED
    Some college=>Some College
    **Associate’s degree=>Some College
    **Bachelor’s degree=>College Graduate
    **Master’s or doctorate degree=>College Graduate

    I forgot that we still need to hear from the client on this issue. As one of their recent updates depends on how this is in the clear. Can you please ask them again 🙂

    10/26/15 – Asked client again about this.

    I’m assuming nothing yet on the client. What should we do about it in terms of this aged ticket? Unless this is not being much of a problem anymore 🙂

    They never responded and I asked them 3 times. I guess lets just put it on the backburner until a real issue comes up with it 🙂
