Westwood College | Several Changes – Due Nov 3

Changes from the toolkit:
1. Denver South campus location is now called the “Aurora” campus
2. Westwood’s overall disclaimer must be included on all pages
Westwood College – Annandale (Annandale, VA) and Westwood College – Arlington Ballston (Arlington, VA), have been certified to operate in Virginia by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV). Westwood College – River Oaks is authorized by the Indiana Board for Proprietary Education, 101 West Ohio Street, Suite 670, Indianapolis, IN 46204-1984. All Westwood College institutions are nationally accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS). Westwood College – Online is approved to award associate, bachelor’s and master’s degrees by the Colorado Department of Higher Education. All Westwood College – Online degrees are conferred in accordance with Colorado statutes. The Colorado Department of Higher Education regulates Westwood College – Online and all students enrolling in Westwood College – Online are enrolled under the Colorado Department of Higher Education’s requirements. All students, regardless of their state of origin, will receive the same protections as Colorado state residents. Westwood College – Online will respond to all requests initiated by prospective students for information about online programs. Online programs are not available to residents of all states. 3. The “Why Westwood” copy has changed. In particular under the section “Learn what you need to know. Meet who you need to know.” The sentence “Our instructors are professionals experienced in their fields…” has changed to “Our instructors are industry-experienced professionals in their fields…”
4. The “About Us” school copy has changed. In particular under the section “Westwood College” the following sentence needs to be removed “We have over 6500 students enrolled in one of our degree programs in technology, healthcare, business, design, justice and industrial services.” Also in the very next sentence “To date…” change the word “nearly” to “over”.
5. If “Student Support” copy is on the page, please edit the copy under the section “Tutoring program”. Instead of it saying “free tutoring” it should say “tuition-free tutoring”.
6. “Atlanta Midtown” campus is just referred to as “Atlanta” campus and all copy should reflect this.
7. All logos should match the logos provided in the toolkit, in particular Westwood College no longer permits the EST date within the logo
Note: Some vendors only use the “Why Westwood” OR the “About Us” school copy. Since just one or the other is necessary, updates 3 and 4 only apply to select vendors
