Clickspark API Updates due by July 8th

– No changes to be made here. The Area of Interest Limits is simply a statement they want to make to all partners regarding a restriction they were forced to implement on their end due to high volume number of queries that were being requested via that field. Before we could make unlimited queries and now just 3.

For example, when Gina is matching a lead she is only allowed to place up to 3 queries for the same lead. There may have been cases when she runs into human error and persistently uses our widget multiple times for the same lead and same area of interest. While other times, I imagine that she is just trying to qualify the user to more schools so she runs the same search criteria till she exhausts the search. Hence is the error that Mary mentioned above. Again, there’s not much we can do about it…it’s more about educating Rick and Gina on what happens when they try to search for schools for one lead using more than three area of interests queries (aka searches).

– As for the ‘New LeadiD TCPA Field’. We’re using their forms directly so this doesn’t apply to us. Their forms already handle the TCPA rule.

– API Request ID – This only applies if we were to host and post using their API in which case we would be receiving a special handshake from their server which would be coming over as a server response under a field called ‘APIRequestID’. We’re not posting with them so this is not important.
