    Excel Multiple-User or “COPY” program

    we need a program that enables Melissa and i to both be in the sales charts at once, editing info.  Basically the second user who opens the chart would be given a “copy” to edit, and then once the file becomes available for editing (the first user has closed the file) the second user is given the option to “incorporate changes” or “merge” the copy with the existing file.  This will save a ton of time so we don’t have to each wait for the other to be done with the chart before making edits and inputting info

    To set up a shared workbook, follow these steps:

    Click the Review tab.
    Click Share Workbook in the Changes group.
    On the Editing tab, click to select the Allow changes by more than one user at the same time. This also allows workbook merging check box, and then click OK.
    In the Save As dialog box, save the shared workbook on a network location where other users can gain access to it.
