NCU | Add TCPA verbiage and new fields – Due By Sept 24th
*The purpose of this email is to communicate NCU’s preferred TCPA disclaimer and new form post instructions (excel file attached)*
======================
NCU’S PREFERRED TCPA DISCLAIMER:
================
By submitting your information to NCU, you agree that you may be contacted via automated means, including calls to your wireless phone if provided, emails, or text messages by or on behalf of NCU.
==================
If an exclusive experience, please ensure that this statement is clearly visible on the request for information form (above or below a submit button) on the NCU landing page or microsite for data leads and used in scripts for call center generated leads (both data and/or warm call transfer).
If a shared or non-exclusive experience, please ensure that a reasonably similar statement is clearly visible on the request for information form (above or below a submit button) for data leads and used in scripts for call center generated leads (both data and/or warm call transfer).
===================
INFORMATION REGARDING THE ATTACHED NEW FORM POST INSTRUCTIONS:
Attached to this email communication are updated form post instructions (FPIs). There are 4 new fields that need to accompany each phone number posted to NCU. Primary Phone (http parameter name = Phone) is required and therefore all 4 additional fields for Primary Phone are required. If you are currently posting data to the Secondary Phone (http parameter name = Phone2) than the 4 additional fields are also required for Secondary Phone.Identification of Express Written Consent Collection:
Each number collected and submitted to NCU must also have an accompanying 1 (Yes) or 0 (No) value identifying if expressed written consent was received for each posted phone number.
============
Identification of Wireless Numbers:
Each number collected and submitted to NCU must be identified as wireless – 1 (Yes) or 0 (no).
If you are not using a reputable third party service to determine if a phone number is wireless, it is imperative that you default PhoneNumber_Mobile and PhoneNumber2_Mobile (if posting phone2) parameters to 0 (zero).
==============
Identification of Text/SMS Messaging Consent:
Each number collected and submitted to NCU must also have an accompanying 1 (Yes) or 0 (no) value identifying if Text/SMS Messaging consent was received.
If you are not gathering consent to text message, it is imperative that you default the PhoneNumber_SMSOptin and PhoneNumber2_SMSOptin (if posting values to phone2) parameters to 0 (zero).
============
